First, a clean work area. All the materials she needed. Proper attire, because even if something needed to be made before the morning dew dried, it did not mean doing it in nightclothing. A clear mind, awake and alert.
Chise was ready. She'd learned her lessons through experience and was quite willing to never repeat a few of the experiences. Oh, she'd been scolded, but only gently, and reminded of the importance of being properly prepared.
The window was open to the trio of Neighbors lurking, and all was laid out to easily reach.
With a deep breath, she began.
