[31-Jul-2021] [Criminal Minds] Wallflower
Title: Wallflower
Day/Prompt: 31-July-2021
Fandom: Criminal Minds
Character/Pairing: Hotch/Morgan, Reid
Rating/Warning(s): General
Reid's awkward and standing there, but that doesn't mean Morgan has to be.
Morgan grins wolfishly, letting Hotch sling an strong arm around his waist and drag him to the beat of the music.
"C'mon, kid!" He shouts over the crowd as he throws his arms around Aaron's neck, slinging closer as he throws another glance over his shoulder. "Go dance!"
Reid's lighten up in disco rainbow colored disco lights, specks glowing on his skin as he stands there like the wallflower he is. That doesn't mean he looks bad, though, because he absolutely doesn't; Morgan dressed him in the nearest store's finest— a baggy, grey long-sleeved shirt, ass-hugging jeans, and a borrowed pair of Nikes. Oh, and Morgan's earrings from the dredge of his youth.
"I didn't waste all that time dressing you, Reid—" Morgan says as Hotch caresses up the small of his back, swaying right to left, back and forth, "Ms. Right will come in no time."
Hotch leans forward, resting his head on Morgan's shoulder as he stares at Reid.
"Derek's right, Reid." Hotch adds, voice somehow even despite shouting. "And if you turn around, she's over," he angles his head right, "there."
The sentence registers in the genius' mind, and as his eyes flicker and head tilts, Hotch pulls Derek in, happily becoming one with his lover and the rumbling crowd. Derek hardly notices the skip-and-trot as Reid waves his way with a drink in hand and pulls magic tricks, but Aaron does.
