The dilaudid kicks in instantly. Dilated pupils. Fever dreams. It brings the screams of his own mind as he's beaten and the shrieks of a vague, shadow of a little girl as she's sodomized by the stranger. His voice. His hands. Then, Tobias beating him.

He sees his gaunt face from a third perspective. It fades in and out.

Reid stands in the doorway of his apartment, a little thing in a nice complex, gazing out into the darkness. He doesn't like the rain all too much, it's wet, and it ruins his clothes and hair, but the lightning isn't so bad. He likes riding it, feeling it, feeling the cold in his veins, the warmth as the chemicals keep his skin degrees hotter than it should be.

The memories fade out, anyway.

It's pain, pleasure, pleasure, then the drop to nothing.
