Ryoma stared a the blank paper in front of him, unwilling to touch brush to ink only to have it dry before he decided what to write. He had already done that. Twice.
It was not like him, he knew. But his sudden feelings were not like him, either.
The blank paper waited, in the cooling night, as did the ink, still stoppered. The brush was not heavy in his hand, though the recipient of his words, if he could find them, was heavy in his mind.
Ryoma stared--
And elsewhere, Scarlet carefully sorted shards of colored stone, debating decoration.
