"Tharja!"
Tharja winced. She'd tried everything in her power to hex her husband more visible, or at least easier to perceive, but nothing had ever worked. In peacetime, he did not need his unnatural stealth, but Kellam had certainly kept it.
"What is it?" she questioned. Little Noire was fast asleep, again, though Tharja had helped that along just a bit. Hopefully this entire business of teething would be over soon.
"We're an aunt and uncle again!" Kellam proclaimed, before offering the letter he held to her. This was the... fourth time, now, Tharja thought to herself. She knew what Kellam's immediate question would be, and of course she'd make a charm.
She smiled as she took the letter to read. It certainly wasn't the sort of thing she'd ever expected to feel so content about, but the warmth she felt spreading through her body certainly wasn't a hex.
However...
"Don't they get tired of the teething?" Tharja couldn't help murmuring. It was embarrassing to think she'd once been so little and miserable. And had Kellam's parents even noticed him going through this?
"I'll write and see if they have any suggestions," Kellam offered. "And if you could make a charm..."
"I'll have it done by tomorrow," Tharja replied. Maybe it was time to write to her family as well.
And maybe in the future, they could all do a bit of visiting, now that they had plenty of future in which to visit.
She smiled again. Kellam smiled back.
