Hello for this holiday season in this rollercoaster year!
I bring prompts drawn from the Iliad (Richmond Lattimore translation) --
December 2020 Prompts

02. there the screaming and the shouts of triumph rose up together

21. so must I be called of no account and a coward
22. it were too much toil for me, as if I were a god, to tell all this
23. let death not be a thought in his heart, let him have no fear
24. then I could say my heart had forgotten its joyless affliction
25. this way, friends, stand by me, I am alone
26. hurled in their multitudes to the house of Hades
27. to go where he is and meet the danger, if only for a little
28. yet grieving as he did for his friend he left him to die there
29. my return home is gone, but my glory will be everlasting
30. come, then, do as I say, let us all be won over
