December 2020 Prompts
01. come then, if you will, listen to me
02. there the screaming and the shouts of triumph rose up together
03. this is the way it is fated to be
04. could I win over with persuasion the dear heart within them
05. run away by all means if your heart drives you
06. let us go on and win glory for ourselves
07. but come now, come in and rest on this chair, my brother
08. as storms of snow descend to the ground incessant
09. the Dream went away on wings, and sweet sleep released me
10. I would seize and throw him from the threshold
11. to be always among the bravest
12. before this I am not stopping my anger
13. we may burn many fires, and the glare go up into heaven
14. the shadowy mountains and the echoing sea
15. you are my friends who have come, and greatly I need you
16. the heart in you is iron
17. let counsels and the meditations of men be given to the flames then
18. as when under the screaming winds the whirlstorms bluster
19. all your strength is gone
20. you will not by talking turn me back
21. so must I be called of no account and a coward
22. it were too much toil for me, as if I were a god, to tell all this
23. let death not be a thought in his heart, let him have no fear
24. then I could say my heart had forgotten its joyless affliction
25. this way, friends, stand by me, I am alone
26. hurled in their multitudes to the house of Hades
27. to go where he is and meet the danger, if only for a little
28. yet grieving as he did for his friend he left him to die there
29. my return home is gone, but my glory will be everlasting
30. come, then, do as I say, let us all be won over
31. your own great strength will be your death
