Summary: A quiet day without guests.

The first thing that struck Zenta was the silence. Most, if not all, of their guests had departed already, leaving an unexpected void. Every now and then, at certain times of the year, they'd have a few days or a week where everything was quiet. But Zenta was always surprised by them.
The weather was nice, at least; maybe he could see if Oomi was busy. Ryo had plans, if he was remembering correctly.
"Nice day to get some work done in the fields, isn't it, Zenta?"
Zenta blinked and turned. He hadn't even heard his grandfather approach, but there he was, apparently more than ready to get to work. He offered Zenta a pair of gloves.
So much for... well, whatever he was going to do. If he was going to work on music, he could just as well sing while he worked, and...
He took the gloves and nodded.
"Quiet," he replied. "Ryo's busy, too, so I'm the only help you'll probably get."
His grandfather shrugged. "You'll be enough if you don't stop to try to write rhymes on the potatoes."
Zenta winced then laughed. Once. He'd been desperate enough to do that once! And he'd gotten a hit single out of it, so his potato-scratching had been worth it!
"I'll do my best."
Besides, in the silence of the day, if he struck upon something, Zenta knew he would just keep singing it over and over again.
At least until someone gave him a potato or two.
