[July 22] Popcorn Romance - The Mountain
Title: The Mountain
Day/Prompt: July 22/Thirteen Reasons Why
Fandom: Popcorn Romance
Character/Pairing: Ryouta, Zenta
Rating/Warning(s): AA
Word Count: 200
Summary: A travel magazine...
--
"Let me see," Zenta said as he reached for the magazine. "Are the pictures good?"
Ryouta sighed and handed it over. "Next time I'll buy two copies."
It was a flattering article, however, and the pictures were good. Ryouta hadn't quite made it through all 'Thirteen Reasons Why Teenage Girls Are Flocking to the Country', but he'd read enough to know that they'd probably have even more girls visiting in the future. That was okay, as long as they helped the neighbors with chores and were kind to the animals.
Some of them did even enjoy the wilderness survival games, and some did take to the land. Some preferred the newer amenities slowly popping up around town, but no matter what, it never got overwhelming.
Every weekend, they did two concerts, length and content varying depending on how Zenta felt, and each concert was recorded... Rika even came to surprise everyone whenever she could. She'd even recorded two singles in their little studio.
"Wow, this is great," Zenta murmured, turning a page.
Ryouta just smiled and leaned back.
It wasn't what they'd planned or wanted, years ago, but what they had was even better.
Zenta was right-- It was great.
