As the sun set, Kagero was unwilling to stop sketching. The shadows crept into her art, surrounding everything and finding their home. The scenery she'd found was breathtaking, though she knew what she was producing might not be seen that way. Still, she drew, shadows and light until it threatened to become all shadow and nothing else.
It was interesting, how even the simplest cottage and garden changed as the light faded...
Kagero was unsure if she'd captured the shadows properly, but she had tried--
And in the twilight, she slipped into the same shadows, unseen, to return to Shirasagi.
