November 19 / Superman / "A Man of the World"
Title: A Man of the World

Notes: I don't own any characters from Superman. All characters, storylines and whatnots belong to DC Comics. This is one of Lois Lane's random musings of Clark Kent whom she also knows is Superman.
They call him Superman now.
Funny, but it seems like only yesterday that I came up with that name for him when I was desperately trying to turn in a story for Perry White. The Daily Planet had been facing a crisis and we weren't getting out enough stories and then who else comes along but a mysterious blue-eyes stranger, swooping down out of nowhere and rescuing the burning airplane I was on.
He became the champion of Metropolis and of the world almost overnight.
I can't begin to count how many times he has saved millions of lives, not just with his superhuman abilities but out of the goodness of his heart.
I can't begin to count how many times he has saved my life.
While I find myself limited as a human being, he fills my life with enough love for the both of us. When I cannot shed a tear, he cries for me. He never laughs at me but WITH me. In his arms, I find my home and I find myself.
He is more than just a hero for me.
He is a friend, a lover, a confidante, a soulmate, an enemy, a guiding light. He is more than what people have come to know of him...
Sometimes, the name "Superman" does not do him justice.
