It didn't matter if Lid protested, and she knew it -- after all, she was the reason the project was happening to begin with.
That didn't mean she couldn't make her opinions known in private at least --
"But you did offer to repair the skywalks along this route."
Kunshira bopped her tail-tip lightly against Lid's side.
"Which we're all going to be very grateful for."
"And I'm glad to help! I just --"
Lid's gesture took in the wooden planks, the vines, the roots she was splicing.
"-- I thought I could upgrade, you know?"
