The rain finally stopped, which meant it was time to get back on the road.
Waiting the day was alright; no one wanted to come down with a flux or something (Lyr especially didn't need Venya catching anything, bloody fragile red mage), and there was always sleep to catch up on, weapons to sharpen, spells to refresh ...
Kythi was still glad to get moving. They were headed across the new bridge, and he wanted to see what was waiting on the other side.
It was nice to not be wandering alone any more.
