Surprised Casey opened his eyes, looked up to his lover. „Are you serious? You want to have children?“
„Why not? I guess we could be good parents.“ Zeke bent forward to place a kiss on Casey's lips. „You know, I've never thought that this would ever happen, but yes, I want a family together with you. A house, a dog. Pretty boring, huh?“
„This will never happen. We aren't even allowed to marry.“ Casey sighed slightly, as always when had to face reality. He was happy together with Zeke and with their new, exciting life in New York, but it had a price.
„Never say never,“ Zeke murmured. „I remember some time at highschool when I was a shallow prick, and I didn't care much about this strange geek with the camera around his neck. My life was an endless party; mindless sex, booze and drugs; I pulled a lot of shit and didn't ask about my future.
Until one day everything changed. An alien tries to take over a Highschool in Ohio? Infects all humans? Sounds like a bad movie. I would have laughed about everyone who would have told me this story. If I wouldn't have been there. I'd never thought that I would ever feel so helpless, almost scared. You were stronger than anyone else; you did what no one else was able to do. You stood up against the alien queen and fought her.“
Casey shivered involuntarily; Zeke pulled him closer into his arms. "Back in Highschool, when someone would have dared it to call me gay, I would have killed him. I flirted with every girl like mad, to convince myself that I am normal. To fight the loneliness inside me.
Up to this day; you didn't only save the world, you saved me. Only because of you I have a future now, I'm living in the most exciting town in the world, I go to college, I'm dreaming about it to have a family. Together with you."
Zeke kissed him again. "And I will never say never again because you can make the impossible happen."
