Kiran removed her hood and adjusted her collar, using one of her long sleeves to pat the sweat from her forehead as she said, "I'm sorry to bother you so late, Felicia, but tell me: Is there a limit to how long you can use those Ice Dragon powers of yours?"

"Hmm." Felicia tapped her chin, thinking. "I don't really know. I've never used them like this, to be honest." Around her, cool air swirled. "It's kind of a funny feeling. I'm not really projecting anything. I'm just kind of standing here, radiating." She wrinkled her nose. "You said this is like something from your world, right? What did you call it?"

"Air conditioning," Kiran said, flopping on her bed. "And I promise I'm not going to keep you here all night. You've got to sleep, too, you know." She sighed. "Sure feels nice, though. Have you ever tried doing something like this for one of the Corrins?"

"One of the – ?" Felicia caught herself. "No, I don't think so. I mean, my Corrin is what she is, and she doesn't really feel temperatures the way most people do." She blinked. "Well, I mean, neither do I, but it makes more sense for me than it does for her. ... I think. I mean, blood of the Ice Dragon is one thing, but, when you're a Dragon yourself, it's –" She shook her head. "I'm thinking too much. Don't listen to me, okay?"

"That's all right. Just ... a few more minutes, please, Felicia." Kiran yawned. Almost before she knew it, she was asleep, one long-sleeved arm draped over her face.

Felicia smiled softly as she gently rolled Kiran onto her side to make her more comfortable. "Good night." And, as she turned to leave, she commented, mostly to herself, "You're a bit like my Corrin. Just a bit, though. That's a compliment."

Behind her, as she closed the door, Kiran snored quietly.

END.
