Pressed into the blessed shadow of a shattered pillar, Asterion slid down the cool(ish) stone and slung sweat-soaked hair out of his face. Sanctuary was warm enough as it was anyway; Sanctuary in summer, now --
"Aw, is the Hound to warm to hunt? Asterion, get up. It's a nice day, don't complain."
He eased an eye open. Misty was standing over him, looking obnoxiously immaculate. Even his ringlets looked untouched by sun and sweat.
Bastard.
"Say that again after I chase you across Sanctuary with Star Ghosts, Lacerta."
