"The usual," Kyon said. "Chores, homework, video games with my sister—"

"I see," Haruhi said. "What time did you go to bed?"

Kyon frowned. "What difference does THAT make?"

"I need to know what my club members are doing at all times!" Haruhi declared.

"WHY!?" Kyon demanded. "And anyway, what did YOU do after school last night!?"

Haruhi blushed furiously. "Wha— why do you want to know THAT, you PERVERT!?"

"After a guilty reaction like that," an intrigued Kyon said, "I REALLY want to know what you were doing!"
