Mizuho found Kei deep in thought and gazing into the distance. "Whatcha thinking about?" she asked as she hugged him from behind.
"I've heard rumors about Koishi and Yamada-sensei," Kei said, "and I was just thinking about all the other relationships with age differences around here besides ours."
"There are quite a few," Mizuho agreed. "Even the principal and his wife have an unusally large age gap."
"I guess there's hope for Matagu after all," Kei thought out loud. "All he has to do is wait awhile longer."
Mizuho looked at Kei in disbelief.
"OK, a LOT longer," Kei admitted.
