A handsome young fellow was chatting up Mireille at a cafe. She was in a good mood, and she was enjoying the attention.

"So, can I take you out to dinner this Saturday?" the man asked.

"Let me check my appointment book," Mireille said.

Her face fell when she saw her note for Saturday evening: KILL BAD GUYS.

"I'm afraid I have a previous engagement," Mireille said.

"Oh." The man turned away. "Well, perhaps another time."

I did not expect to survive this long, Mireille thought sadly, but there is little point in living if I cannot have a LIFE.
