Prompt: It's okay to say 'I love you!' from your heart
Disclaimer: of course, I don't own The Faculty nor the characters
Zeke looked down at the boy who was lying beside him. A light blanket covered his naked body, the eyes closed, the hair slightly messy. His chest moved up and down visibly while he breathed in and out … in and out. Still a smile on his lips, exhausted but happy. And Zeke knew, he would never get enough from this sight again.
When he thought that he wouldn't endure it for longer, he closed his eyes and with shaking fingers he grabbed for his cigarettes. What he felt in this moment almost scared him to death. He had learned it the hard way that it was better to trust no one. All too often people had hurt him he when he had let them into his life. And he had promised himself that this would never happen again.
The only question was how to keep Casey on distance. He was so different from everyone he had ever met before. The others called him a loser, a nerd, the geek with the camera. But Zeke had looked into his amazing blue eyes and he had known that he wanted him. An interesting challenge at first. But then it had been Casey who had made the first step, who had tiptoed and kissed him. And he had been lost.
The last two hours, a neverending dream, almost hurtful desire, maximum lust. But not just fucking. No, they had made love, even during the rough moments with biting and pinching and pulling at his hair, it had felt careful and gentle.
Love. A shiver rushed through his body. But he didn't believe in love. Love was the most meaningless word in the world. People used it to get what they wanted. He had used it to get what he wanted. So, why couldn't he think of another word for what he felt for Casey?
„Hey. You okay?“
Casey's voice tore him out of his thoughts. Only hesitating he opened his eyes again, just to meet deep blue eyes, long lashes, calm but slightly worried. He wondered how long Casey might have watched him and if he was able to read his mind.
„I love you,“ Zeke whispered.
The smile on Casey's face was overwhelming. And suddenly Zeke felt as calm as never before in his life. It was okay to say 'I love you' when it came from the heart.
