Haruhi entered the club-room and found Kyon, Mikuru, and Itsuki staring at her fearfully. "What!?" she growled.

"Uh... how's your computer science class going?" Kyon asked carefully.

Haruhi sighed. "We just covered recursion. At first, I thought it was cool..."

Kyon, Mikuru, and Itsuki gulped.

As she turned away, Haruhi said the magic word. "...but it's really BORING."

Kyon, Mikuru, and Itsuki felt a rushing sensation. "Haruhi just unwound the stack," Itsuki whispered. "We're free."

"I hope we're done with reality-altering algorithms for awhile," Kyon said.

Yuki lowered her own computer-science textbook, looked at the others, and smiled to herself.
