Kyon found a worried Itsuki and Mikuru in the SOS Brigade club-room. Yuki was reading in her corner, as usual.

"What's wrong NOW?" Kyon asked.

"We've fallen into a trap even more terrifying than last summer's time-loop," Itsuki said.

"I find THAT hard to believe," Kyon said.

"Do you understand recursion in computer science?" Itsuki asked.

"I think so," Kyon said.

"Haruhi recently learned it," Itsuki said, "and she's testing it out— on US. In fact...

"We've fallen into a trap even more terrifying than last summer's time-loop."

Itsuki, Kyon, and Mikuru stared at each other.

"Uh oh," Kyon said.
