Itsuki placed a laboratory flask containing a glowing blue liquid on the club-room table in front of Kyon and Mikuru.
"What's that?" Kyon asked.
"I have no idea," Itsuki said cheerfully. "Apparently, Haruhi was bored during chemistry, and she decided to make something that had never been made before."
"Is it dangerous?" Mikuru asked.
The liquid turned a bright green.
"Probably not," Itsuki said nervously.
"What should we do with it?" Mikuru asked.
"Maybe we could just throw it away," Kyon said.
The liquid turned a menacing shade of red.
"Alright," Itsuki said. "Go ahead."
"Nuh uh," said Kyon. "You."
