Lucca soldered two broken wires inside Robo’s chassis back together. “Wow, they really beat you up. Good thing we saved you.”

“Do you believe them?” asked Robo.

“Hmm?”

“My brothers. They said I was useless, called me… defective.”

Lucca sighed. “Well, seems like they thought your purpose was to destroy humans. In that respect, you are a failure.”

“So they’re right.”

“However! I’d say one’s purpose in life is less about what you’re built for, and more what you choose to do. You chose to help us, and did.”

“So you think I’m a success?”

“Biggest one I ever saw.”
