"Ayeka?" asked Mihoshi. "What would you do if Tenchi decides that he loves Ryoko?"

"That will NEVER happen," Ayeka sniffed, "but if it did? As a princess of Jurai, I would have no shortage of suitors."

Mihoshi turned to Ryoko, who was lounging nearby. "What would you do if Tenchi decides that he loves Ayeka?"

Ryoko shrugged. "I'd probably go back to being a space pirate, and eventually die alone, unmourned and unloved."

"If you think I'll give up on Tenchi out of sympathy," Ayeka said, "you're quite mistaken."

"ALOOOONE!" Ryoko cried melodramatically. "SOOOOO ALOOOONE!—"

"YOU'RE QUITE MISTAKEN," Ayeka growled.
