Prompt: 2-Mar-2016 "nonsense; it wakes up the brain cells"

Characters: Haruhi, Kyon
Type: Humor; 100 words
Warnings: Pending torture.
"I've figured out why we haven't found any ESPers," Haruhi said to Kyon. "It's because we're not using our brains."
"I've been saying that all along," Kyon noted.
"Not like that, you idiot!" Haruhi uncoiled a power cord. "People don't even use ninety percent of their brains."
Kyon frowned. "No, I think that's just an urban legend."
Ignoring him, Haruhi plugged the cord into a nearby socket. "We just need to jump-start the unused ninety percent."
She held up two bare sparking wires. "Hold still, Kyon. This won't hurt a bit!"
Kyon's brain suddenly went into overdrive all by itself.
