Notes: Partly based on a True Story, when one of my college professors drew a circle on a blackboard and said "This is the Universe." I don't know why, but I almost burst out laughing in class, and I still remember it years later.

Washu was instructing Sasami in basic cosmology, using an old-fashioned slate blackboard, as a bored Ryoko lounged nearby.

Washu drew a large circle on the blackboard. "This is the Universe," she declared. "It's mostly black and empty, with a few specks of dust, and it's actually much smaller than you might think."

"That's still quite the oversimplification," Ryoko snarked.

"Ryoko? Please take a closer look," Washu said. "Riiiight there." She suddenly gave Ryoko a dope-slap and slammed Ryoko's face into the blackboard.

"Sasami?" said Washu. "THAT is what happens when you don't learn the basic laws of physics."

Sasami gulped.
