July 2015 Themes
This month's themes are mostly from literature, and then mostly from Terry Pratchett, but I couldn't resist adding a few favourites from other sources as well. Hope you guys are inspired by them!
Themes
1. I sing, but not of love, for love is blind; but celebrate instead the muse of kindness.
2. She couldn’t do worse, but then, he couldn’t do better. So maybe it balanced out.
3. Strength enough to build a home, Time enough to hold a child, Love enough to break a heart.
4. A hero is not measured by the size of his strength, but by the strength of his heart.
5. And who, precisely, defines the monstrousness of the monsters and the tyranny of the tyrants?
6. The only appropriate state of the heart is joy.
7. What a splendid girl you are! Will you marry me?
8. What can the harvest hope for, if not for the care of the reaper man?
9. The moments that change your life are the ones that happen suddenly.
10. A gentleman never works magic against a woman, particularly his own mama.
11. Never promise to do the possible. Anyone could do the possible.
12. They sold the key to the universe to people who didn’t even know it was locked.
13. They didn’t quite understand what she meant, but they were very touched by her words.
14. What you don’t read is often as important as what you do read.
15. The truth is too precious to die for.
16. I didn’t mean to say it, but I meant what I said.
17. Every day, in every way, we get better and better.
18. When you think of me, think of a food that you love very much.
19. If you fall, let them remember how you turned it into a dive.
20. It is not so dark here.
21. And you say bought and sold? All right. But not, I think, needlessly spent.
22. She was a nicer person when she talked about people she loved.
23. What doesn’t live can’t change. What can’t change can’t learn.
24. it’s so clear that the two of you, on some level belong together.
25. If you look someone in the eyes, really look at them, you are much less likely to hit them.
26. It’s the hope that’s important.
27. It somehow found its way into our souls, reminding some of us that we have one.
28. What would humans be without love?
29. But what we call our despair is often only the painful eagerness of unfed hope.
30. Believe me to be, my dear fellow, very sincerely yours...
31. It was no trick that she looked kind as the end of a long day.
