Title: Preserved
Day/Theme: Aug. 2, 2013 "the kind of love that's best preserved in turpentine"
Series: Hunger Games series
Character/Pairing: Blight(/?), District 7 OCs

Author's comment: Just a quick drabble
They weren't big on diamonds in Seven. Lovers tended to give amber jewelry instead. Blight thought about it and shopped through the local markets for a plain piece. Maybe he could deck it out a bit himself or get someone to add to it in the Capitol.
He wasn't interested in seeing Capitol items for inspiration though. Raisin Hiro showed him her wedding ring, textured like a tiny golden branch and studded with spots of amber. Missa Meyer had a simple amber band. They were both nice, artistic, but homey. Blight had more thinking to do, but they were possibilities.
