Author's comment: ...writing too many short things this month.
The light craft cut away from Hisaka's glider and disappears from her sight between the clouds. "Heyyy!" she calls after him, but they have no communications system connecting them. Her voice is lost in the wind.
But there are others who still have a link to the ship he guides- it's not his ship, it belongs to the kingdom he came from.
When he doesn't answer the hails they warn him.
When he doesn't heed the warnings- first, second, third, drastic fourth- the ship goes down.
Hisaka sees the plume of black smoke stretching up through the pure blue sky.
