Demyx didn't like missions. Recon was too much work and fighting was fighting. But there was one main advantage to going on missions, they were an excuse to leave the castle in The World That Never Was. That place was just depressing. Demyx knew that was the point. It was a place that was never meant to be made for those never meant to exist, but did it have to be so dull? The castle was mostly white and grey with the occasional blues and purples but those colors were in shades completely washed out and devoid of life. Even the nobodies themselves seemed were duller and paler when in the castle as though it were determined to leech all the color out of them.

It a relief really to get off world, to see the snow covered mountain in the Land of Dragons dotted with the dark green evergreen trees, or the bright yellow sand and brilliant blue sky of Agraba, or the vivid tropical colors and warm blue water of his favorite world Atlantica. It was nice to escape to the other worlds and be reminded that there were places beauty and life still existed.

Authors Note: My muse and I aren't seeing to eye lately but this prompt made me smile.
