Author's comment: Just a drabble.
It wasn't so much that art was immoral, as it was amoral. The ideas of 'good' and 'evil' that ordinary people subscribed to had no worthy place applied to art. The only rubric for art was that of beauty (and that, in the eye of the beholder- thought hopefully a discriminating one was the person they had in mind) and was beauty ever immoral?
...It was just one of those things Kimblee thought about to occupy his days in prison. He wasn't making art, but he could still consider it.
Neither the warden nor Officer Levesque was willing to comment.
