Kyouko usually liked her powers, but she sometimes wishes for healing powers.

Like now. Mami is bleeding - Kyouko didn't even know that bodies could bleed so much - while Kyouko carries her home. It's a real long way away.

Healing powers would be good. Kyouko can't do that, but she can talk. She read that she should talk to keep the injured person conscious. Mami's only hmming and aahing, but it's enough reaction to satisfy Kyouko (barely).

Until Mami asks, "Kyouko?"

Kyouko tries to keep it cool. "Yeah?"

"I'm glad you're here."

Kyouko shifts Mami on her back. "Yeah."
