Link started by playing Saria's song, then shifted into the one Malon had taught him to call Epona -- she perked up her ears in response before returning to grazing -- then segued into other melodies, songs that had no magic to them, but were ones he'd composed for other friends: Darunia, Ruto, Impa, Nabooru, Navi and the Great Deku Tree. The people of Termina, even if they didn't remember everything.
He always finished with a final song, the one he'd learned when he first met Zelda, and he'd wonder if she could hear it from where he was playing.
