November Themes

A little early (or earlier than our last few lists due to pinch-hitting issues), here are November's themes, by [livejournal.com profile] crystalpool!

1. he was nothing, nothing but pain and terror
2. twisting itself out of the abstract furls
3. like they can think for themselves
4. falling through the canopy over the dance floor
5. the ghost of his last laugh
6. once people are dead, they belong with the dead
7. spattered across the pages of history
8. the tiniest trickle of relief
9. furious at my refusal, jealous of my freedom
10. the music box that made everyone sleepy
11. “come on, think of something happy…”
12. more aware of his own living body than ever before
13. times change
14. so young to be fighting so many
15. we are part of you, invisible to anyone else
16. “Kill his friends – the more, the better – but do not kill him.”
17. has many hidey-holes and accomplices
18. for the greater good
19. the incalculable power of certain acts
20. that cold, cruel sense of purpose that preceded murder
21. a single cobweb stretched over the nearest window
22. “We thought you knew what you were doing!”
23. their ragged breathing the only sound
24. mounds of carved humans
25. listening to the radio
26. plunging like a stone
27. the slash of the silver blade
28. the merry-faced thief
29. silence but for the crackle of the fire
30. Do Not Enter Without Express Permission
bonus theme, if you feel like doubling up on the 30th! 31. about to go home
