Title: “Just a Bit Mad”

Piqued? Yes. A loss of face or respect. Surely. It’s not hard to understand. The world I once lived in has transformed into a vicious serpent, yet it has its moments of redemption. It still doesn’t invalidate my feelings. The exceptions make the rule.

Peeved? Absolutely. People peeve me, especially the ones that chew with their mouths open. It’s disgusting. Every chomp just twists my nerves into a knot. Close your mouth when you chew or starve yourself.

Vexed? Maybe. I’m not one for words that start with V – vortex, vacuum, violin, vegetables…vagina. I’ll stick with W, which is two V’s put together.

Bothered? My blood runs a little deeper than bothered.

Irked? C’mon, that word just sounds funny. Silly English lexicon.

Annoyed. Now that’s a word everyone knows, even the children, which is ironic because children tend to be annoying.

As I look down at the knife in my left hand and the pistol in my right, I smile innocently. I’m definitely not homicidal. I promise.
