[October 4] [FMA] Of All The Bars...
Title: Of All The Bars...
Day/Theme: October 4 – Why do you sleep with girls?
Series: Full Metal Alchemist
Pairing: Roy Mustang, Edward Elric
Rating: G
The saloon was empty only when the sun hovered just below the horizon and the sky was a pale purple – this is when Roy Mustang leaned back against the bar, draping his arms along the edges, a small smile pulling at his lips.
The owner watched him from a table across the room, rolling a fountain pen between his fingers. “What are you so damn pleased about, if I may enquire, Colonel?” It wasn’t often that the Cavalry made such a lengthy stay in their side of the state, and the saloon man was curious.
His answer was a disbelieving snort from the doorway as a much younger man in a dirty duster walked in. “Just look in the jail, Smith,” he offered, jerking a thumb over his shoulder and fixing Mustang with a glare. “He caught the little girl that was shooting up that gang of horse-thieves up in the mountains.”
Mustang dipped his finger in his whiskey glass and stirred. “She’s bigger than you.” He grinned at the sudden angry flush of Elric’s face. “And I haven’t touched her.” Yet, he thought silently, though only if he was sure he’d gotten all of her guns away. She had them everywhere.
