11 July - Original - Milk and Glass.

Title: Milk and Glass.
Day/Theme: July 11 – “Brother, can you spare a dime?”
Rating: PG
Summary: The interludes of the mind.

It wanders forlorn from house to house, sitting as vagrants do on steps covered in moss and heirlooms, prostrated from head to toe seductively over the mud and floor only to come apart from bone and muscle.

It splinters and fractures, tearing at seam - broken to be sewn up again, and it falls apart before eyes that close, open milky white - seeing for those not unseen.

It spoils in limpid pools of lust and gratitude, and it comes:

It always comes apart.

It is much in that moment as it was, between the opening of eyes and exhalation of breath to find another beside you in murky daydreams, tangible to touch - rolling the thoughts over and through the mouth – only to raise the tongue testing teeth, none are rotting and all are intact save for breaks and holes.

"You know how much I need you, but you never even see me."
