Summary: In which the young girl hates what others can't see.
She could see things others couldn’t. Most of the creatures of this nature she encountered were friendly, but there were some nights when she would wake up and an unknown mouth would be inches away from her head. She hated those nights because she couldn’t talk about them to anyone. She was already looked at strangely for her unusual hair color and name.
“Kotori?” a voice said.
She rolled over to stare at the small dragon that had landed by her hand. “Eh, what is it?”
“It’s morning. We should move.”
“Is it? Alright, thanks.”
Nobody else could see the small dragon perched on her shoulder. She covered her strange hair with a hooded cloak. For her, each day and night was a new struggle to survive.
