Dear Jaina,
Quel'Danas is boring as ever. Fortunately, my friends come to visit me, even through the security procedures and cleansing rituals. Kylian has been back and forth a dozen times, and he's the one who has brought my letters to you, and yours to me. It would be easier to send arcane messages, or use the bond, but with so much of my attention devoted to maintaining the systems within the Sunwell, it seems unwise. This means that you get to read my handwriting, and I yours.
I miss you. I miss you with a burning that is like the flames of the phoenix. I wish that you could be here, but I know that you're busy. How are your studies going? I know that you were writing the prep-Archmage exams the other day, but I wasn't sure how far things had gone with the evaluation. Eternal summer makes every day here feel the same.
Father is recovering. I've given Shelemvor permission to hire servants to monitor his eating and sleeping habits, but he needs time to train them, so here I sit. I'm grateful for the books you've sent
