Title: Gun Fingers
Day/Theme: October 1 – A screaming comes across the sky
Series: Full Metal Alchemist
Pairing: Roy Mustang, Riza Hawkeye

Bang.
She watched the man slide off his horse, watched as the animal screamed and bucked at the dead weight clinging to its withers until the body fell off and hit the ground in a cloud of dust. The horse shuddered and was still, head bowed in her sights.
She lowered her rifle from her shoulder, running her fingers along the stock affectionately. A shadow fell over her and she rose from her crouch slowly, snatching up a battered hat from the ground at her feet. She jammed it on over fly-away blonde hair as she glanced up at his face, and raised an eyebrow in question. There were dirt patches on the knees of her brother’s old trousers and sweat stains on the blouse she had tucked into them.
Colonel Roy Mustang, U.S. Cavalry, smirked at her, a pistol dangling from his own pristine, white-gloved fingers. “Not bad for a farm girl, Elizabeth.”
