Title: Frankenstein's Perfume
Day/Theme: June 8, 2011 "Stench and splendor."

Character/Pairing: Roy, Riza, an unnamed alchemist

Additional comment: Another creepy drabble.
The stench of rotting flesh couldn't be concealed. Not by brewing coffee or baking scones or pausing from the work of alchemy to repaint the entryway to the little house. Roy's gloves were on his hands as he passed by all these empty deceptions. His most loyal subordinate had his back.
"The basement," he said, heading for the most likely location of the illicit work he had been sent to halt.
The needle fell from the hand of the bedraggled man, bouncing off his tapestry to the stone floor. He did not resist arrest, but mourned his “son,” left incomplete.
