[September 30] [Hikaru no Go] The Golden-Leafed Path

The Golden-Leafed Path
The man walked with his father down the golden-leafed path. Foolishness but the Master had wanted to view the full moon from beneath the old chestnut tree, abandoning all at the inn.
The son thought now of the game, knowing it was the Master’s last. Shouji had played well, many saying much like his old teacher, gone now these many years.
Many also said that the game had truly been the match to claim god’s hand. He knew that there would never be another like it for a thousand years.
The Master sat under the tree, looking at the moon.
