"Miles Edgeworth, if you had even one lick of sense in that foolish head of yours, you would know better than to attempt to eat that pomegranate while wearing your good suit. You hardly possess the necessary skills to handle such a fruit even in casual clothing," Franziska lectured her "little brother."
At least, Edgeworth, reflected, she hadn't whipped him yet. ...Although the whip was there in her hands, remaining an ever-present threat to his health and well-being. "I am perfectly well-versed in pomegranates, Franziska. Handled with care, they can be dismantled without any unfortunate accidents."
"Perhaps if one is accustomed to defusing land mines," she sniffed. "You, however, are not so talented with your hands as to correctly perform this task, Miles Edgeworth. A bowl of water in the sink would be recommended. But what, after all, can I truly expect out of a man of your immense foolishness? Don't say I didn't warn you."
"Yes, yes," Edgeworth waved her away. Enough lecturing, it was time to eat. He gripped the thick skin of the pomegranate and pulled, slowly, carefully. The job looked to be proceeding neatly enough. He relaxed his approach just barely, and a drip of red juice flew through the air, avoiding his stainless suit and papers, arcing perfectly toward the stack of papers Franziska had left across the table from him. Splat. A single droplet stained the dossier. Edgeworth stared at the blood-like mark in disbelief. He would not be avoiding the fury of Franziska's whip for much longer.
