Author's comment: Eh, I don't much care for this, but I've been reading tons of Lupin III lately.

"Lupin, I don't know about this," Jigen muttered suspiciously, "You may be the greatest thief alive, but you know how Fujiko is...she'll turn around and stab you in the back the moment she thinks the prize is in her hands."

"Oh, Jigen, Jigen, Jigen," Lupin tsked, turning cheerfully to pace back across the room to his companion, "After all this time, don't you have faith in me? You see, I can't say too much- the walls might have ears and all that- but let's just say I'm telling Fujiko one thing and aiming to capture another."

"Eh," Jigen's nerves weren't exactly soothed by this explanation, although it was true enough that Lupin had yet to be topped by his feisty red-haired rival when it really mattered. "Well, I'll take your word for it."

"That's my man!" Lupin slapped him on the back. "Then let's get cracking!"

---

The diamond was perched in a particularly difficult to reach display within the museum. Breaking in was a cinch. Any of the trio- Lupin, Jigen, or Fujiko- could've done that much in their sleep.

"C'mon, c'mere and I'll lift you up so you can reach it- you can stand on my shoulders," Lupin said, grinning as he held his hands out to her.

Fujiko slapped his hands away. "So you can look up my skirt? I think not, Lupin. I can give you a boost just as well."

Jigen turned away and looked at his watch. He wasn't sure he could handle much more of this. They were cutting things awfully close...it was just an hour to opening time. Staff would be arriving to see that everything was in order. Lupin had been unwilling to give him the full details, so there was no way for Jigen to be sure what would be the best manner of running interference. He settled for just trying to stay out of Lupin's way and being ready to run when the jig was up.

Things were going just as Lupin had planned. Fujiko lifted him up, and he picked the huge yellow diamond carefully out of its case. It gleefully reflected his glittering smile in the early morning light.

And just as he'd expected, Fujiko was shifting her weight under him, holding him up while reaching for her pistol. The color of the diamond may have cast them in an unclean hue, but Lupin's teeth gleamed. "W-woah!" He "slipped", allowing the diamond to fall precisely out of his hand and down into Fujiko's cleavage. She might've wanted the prize for herself, but that certainly wasn't how she expected to get it.

Lupin leapt down from his untrustworthy perch and brazenly stuck his hand down her shirt, seeking out the diamond. "Oh, oops, it seems the diamond's slid all the way down into your panties! I'd better investigate!"

"Damn it, Lupin! This is no time for a quickie!"

---

"I thought you were going to tell Fujiko one thing and go for another," Jigen remarked back at their hideout.

"I did! I told her I was going for that yellow diamond when what I really wanted was the yellow diamond and her!" Lupin explained.
