In the end, Amy had managed to get away with it. She'd avoided growing up.

Sure, she was a legal adult. She was even married and everything. But that didn't mean she'd have to become one of those boring grown-ups, and in that sense, she thought, she was doing quite well. How many adults still had their not-so-imaginary friends around, after all? Or even better: how many couples spent their married life going on adventures in space?

Yeah, she was doing pretty well, all things considered. And she didn't have the slightest intention to change that.

"C'mon, let's go take a look!"

She grabbed Rory's hand and dragged him behind her as she ran, and in a way, they were still ten years old.
