"This is the best honeymoon ever."

"How do you know?" Amy asked, giving him a sideways look. "Did you have more than one?"

"… no. No - not at all. Of course not. Manner of speaking. Why would I?"

"Really? Two thousand years, and this is your first honeymoon?"

Truth be told, Rory still didn't quite understand just how real (or not) all that time had been, and trying to figure it out only gave him a headache. But he remembered it, anyway, and he supposed that was the important part.

"Yes," he said. "Why do you make it sound like a bad thing?"

Amy grinned at him and gave him a peck on the cheek.

"It's not a bad thing," she said. "You're cute."

"… really?"

"Really. And it is the best honeymoon ever. How many people get a tour of the galaxy?"

"I know! Different planet each day! It's amazing-"

"Isn't it just?" said a different voice, and all of a sudden the Doctor was right there between them, wrapping his arms around their shoulders. "Come on, I've got a restaurant to show you! Wonderful view of the asteroid ring."

On the other hand, Rory thought, the best honeymoon ever could do with a bit more alone time.
