Rikku would remember the change happening in a moment, at sunset.
Kimahri was standing on a hill, silhouetted by the setting sun, his ornaments gleaming gold in the light. She realized then that he was beautiful. There was no other word for it.
This seemed normal, but then she realized she was looking not only at the dramatic picture of a Ronso in battle gear but at the muscles beneath the regalia. She was attracted to Kimahri, and there was no other word for that either.
When she went to sleep that night she dreamed of the touch of fur.
