Title: Every New Beginning
Day/Theme: April 09, 2010: The end of something
Series: Poppyseed - snowdrifts's slice-of-life series. (In other words, the boys aren't mine.)
Character/Pairing: Jordan Moreau & Elijah Bancroft
Warnings: Uh. Implied entirely justified violence? (And in light of the other side of things, also violence entirely unjustified... but Jordan's the type to put himself aside when worried.)

Jordan opened the door, and stared.

"He won't bother you anymore," Elijah said, sounding for all the world as though he were talking about having chased off a stray dog. His hands were bandaged, and there was a tiny cut on his right cheek.

"You didn't have to - " Jordan started to say, but stopped. There was something... he couldn't put a finger on it, but something told him act normal, he needs you to act normal - and he did his best to. Driven by that same something, he stepped out onto the porch and hugged Elijah.

"Thanks."
