[Feb 04] [JE: Intergroup] There's always Okinawa
Title: There's always Okinawa
Day/Theme: Feb 4th / sun-kissed
Series: Kat-tun / NEWS (RPS)
Character/Pairing: Nishikido Ryo x Ueda Tatsuya
Rating: PG
The sun stands high in the sky, heating the sand under their nude skin. It's hot, blindingly bright and Ueda rolls to his side to burry his head in Ryo's nape.
"What are you doing?", Ryo murmurs from underneath the towel he's laid over his head.
"I'm blind", Ueda explains, breathing in the scent of beach and sunscreen. Above them seagulls are flying towards the horizon.
There's rustling next to him, Ryo lifting the towel just enough to glance at Ueda's face. They lock eyes for a second, then Ryo lets the fabric fall back down. "You're not blind."
"Shut up", Ueda grumbles, curling up closer to his lover.
"Aren't you happy?" The towel moves when Ryo's mouth does. "You wanted to go to Okinawa and I made time to go with you."
Ueda flings an arm over his eyes, rolls back onto his back and watches the clouds lazily making their way over the sky. "Nakamaru lets me do whatever I want", he says absentmindedly.
"I'm not visiting the lavender-fields with you, Tatsuya", Ryo states.
"Why not, they're really pretty."
"And really gay."
Ueda keeps silent, watches the waves crash in the distance and the constant lifting of Ryo's chest. "Perhaps we can take a look at them next year", he murmurs. Underneath the towel Ryo grins but Ueda can't see it through the fabric.
