[17 January] [Seiken Densetsu 3] Broken Creatures
Title: Broken Creatures
Day/Theme: 17 January- belong not to the real existence of things
Series: Seiken Densetsu 3
Character/Pairing: Lise
Rating: PG
This is the Mana Holyland as seen in their nightmares- the brace root broken, its parts scattered and disunited, dying slow deaths as they try to reach out and rejoin one another, and lightning red and foul that seems almost as if it is pain lancing through the sky. The Rabite clans must have scattered long before this, Lise decides- she can’t recall seeing them when they came here to break the seal on their class changes, and the creatures they’re seeing now are… different, as though something in them broke with the land and now they can’t decide what they are, seizing instead on creatures from the world beyond the Holyland, and some even the group’s own shapes. They’re accurate, too, right down to the blemishes on their faces and the flecks of colours in their eyes, and Lise feels unsettled and disturbed as the creature in her own shape- Shadow-Zeros, the faerie calls them- dissolves into nothing.
She cannot pray that this is a dream.
